Artist in Residence
at the Centre County Grange Fair, Centre Hall, Pennsylvania
For the third year, I will be capturing the activities and atmosphere of the fair throughout the week, working both "en plein air" (from life) and in a studio setting in the area of the Emporium. Visitors are welcome to watch and talk to me wherever I may be found. A growing display of the resulting artwork will be on display, and available for purchase, in the Emporium and Museum Building. This year we've also created a collector's poster, featuring one of my paintings from past years as the background image. The poster is available in a signed limited edition of 800 at the Emporium.

At the General Potter Farm on Rt. 322 in Potters Mills, 10 miles east of State College. Featuring some of the best of Penns Valley's artists, craftsmen, specialty food producers, and musicians. Friday 5-9 pm, Saturday 10-9, Sunday 12-6 with a carole sing to follow.

Holiday Two-Artist Show. Paintings will include still life works featuring master potter Scot Paterson's hand thrown pottery.
Opening reception Friday evening, November 13 from 5 - 9 pm. Local landscapes will also be featured and, of course, as full selection of Scot's beautiful pots.

A growing display of the resulting artwork will be on display, and available for purchase, in the Emporium and Museum Building. There will also be a followup show of these and addition studio pieces later in the fall. Last year, this project resulted in an exciting body of work memorializing a wonderful piece of ongoing Americana.

State Museum, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Gala reception Saturday evening, June 27. My painting "After Midnight, Grange Fair" was one of 157 selected out of 2,179 entries. The painting will be available for sale through the Museum. I plan to attend the opening reception.
